What was this old cartoon show?
As a kid I remember watching an animated cartoon show featuring a boy, a girl, a pudgy little white dog, and a car that turned into a flying machine. Specifically, I think the car turned into a hot air balloon with a propeller in the back. This was in the early to mid 1980's (though the cartoon may have been older).
Does anyone know what cartoon this was?

I watched a lot of cartoons in the 80’s, and I remember no such show. A car that turned into a hot-air balloon? Only thing remotely close to this would be Speed Buggy, about a car with it’s own personality. Johnny Quest is the only cartoon I remember with a white pudgy dog in it, besides Muttley, I don’t know. Perhaps you are remembering the Laugh-Olympics, with all the Hanna Barbera cartoons in it.
