Ok, without looking anything up, please can you tell me what you know about very old cartoons?
ie: Felix the Cat, Betty Boop, etc.

Do you know if they show old cartoons like The Flinstones, The Jetsons or Scooby Doo?

i luv those old cartoons from the 30's and 50's like betty boop, flintstones looney toons droopy dog and all of those they dont air them any more which is so messed up how/where can i get them on tape (live in santa cruz)

Does anyone else remember these classic Christmas (or similar) cartoons?

Santa's Surprise
Christmas comes but once a year
Somewhere in Dreamland

and similar cartoons, like Popeye, Betty Boop, Little Lulu?

I think they were made in the 40's or 50's originally, but I grew up watching them because we had some old tapes. I still pull them out every year. You can't beat the quality of the old cartoons... they have something wonderful that the more modern ones just don't have!
on the contrary, cajohnson667, I'm only 19!

And its awesome that I'm not the only one who loves 'Somewhere in Dreamland'. Its just a good wholesome cartoon :) and Warner Bros were not racist... *grumbles at stupid politically correct paranoia*

I'm trying to research a specific cartoon with a moon in it. The cartoon is either old fashioned or a parody of old cartoons, So I'm guessing Betty Boop, Popeye, Felix or a Simpsons take-off. I would think it dates from 1920's-40's
Everything is moving in a stretchy syncopated manner, Then the moon looks down at the main character and winks. I've seen the 1935 cartoon "Silvery Moon", Whilst similar, it isn't the one
I suppose it might in fact be the sun, but for my purposes, that's fine.
If you have any ideas, or better yet a link, I'd sure appreciate it.

I would love to purchase old cartoons from Gumby, X-Men, Captain N, Macron 1, Transformers, Betty Boop, Popeye, Felix, Sailor Moon, Digimon, Scooby-Doo, etc. And also old shows like Golden Girls, I Love Lucy, Johnny Carson Show, Andy Griffith Show, etc. Does anyone know where to purchase new sets of these shows?

I bought one of those compilation dvds with all the old cartoons on it. well, this betty boop cartoon came on and she was on a stage doing her thing and there was a black woman in the crowd with three screaming babies..they all ran up on stage, they were led away from the stage with a watermelon dangling from a fishing pole...I'm not even kidding..should I tell walmart?
