I really wish they would. Cartoon network has one, boomerang, which some of those cartoons use to play on disney or nick according to wikipedia the smurfs played on nick or maybe disney. but i want to watch stuff like rocco's modern life and doug and old mickey mouse. is either of those channels ever going to do something like that?

So, my friend and I do these things called "Secret Assignments" (It's a book if you've read it.) We give each other these little secret missions and they have to fufill it. We've done things like "Decorate so and so's locker with hearts and I love you signs." or "Go around town and take a picture with the following: Mickey Mouse, Betty Boop, etc" Things like that. I'm at a LOSS for my friend's next SA! I need some great ideas that would be really fun for her.

Hey everyone I'm having some trouble trying to find a classic cartoon short/movie. The reason why I'm having so much trouble is that I only remember parts of it. I don't know the title as I was very young and lost the it to a house fire. I know that it was like a musical. It was in black and white when I saw it. I remember a train, a lot of different characters(cow,mickey mouse type of character) dancing in a court yard type of area possibly using musical instruments. The best image I could give would be a bunch of characters like from Noah's Arc with all the animals. Kinda weird I know. It's sad that there isn't much I remember about it. What I do know is that I loved it. I believe that it may have been a Disney related classic. I have been searching all over using youtube/metacafe/amazon/ebay where I have come across some which I thought were close...but no luck. Just to clarify, it is not Melody or Jazz Island. Please show respect. Don't reply unless willing to actually help.
Ok I'm jogging my memory. I remember actual music playing in the cartoon short/movie. I know it involved various motown artist. I was looking at a few things and it seems as though there were a specific amount of vhs tapes put out in the early 80's which might be something closer to what I'm looking for. Most of the old school Disney stuff that I've looked at doesn't have much actual music playing which is what I'm looking for. It is possible that the film was put out in color as well. Its that issue where "I'll know it if I see it." Please keep sending me ideas.
I was told by a relative who watched it with me once that it had the actual songs from The Supremes, and A song from The Jackson Five called the "Dancing Machine." I remember the song the "Dancing Machine" the most. I have yet to find it. I was even thinking of going to our video store which rents cartoons and checking them out. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have it though. So if anyone else comes across this and knows what I'm talking about please let me know.

There is a shop opposite the Empire Hotel, near the Family that sells dresses for around , that also sells cartoon character tshirts for about (mickey mouse etc). At the moment they have a red and white puff bubble dress in the window that I want to buy, but the valley is so far away that I want to call the shop first to make sure they have it. im looking to purchase bath and/or beach towels with cartoon characters on them i.e. mickey mouse, peter pan, thomas the train, and betty boop. i need them in large quantities for a low rate.

A while back, I was speculating with a friend over who/what we thought was the most marketed fictional character in the world.

We ultimately agreed that it's probably Superman. I mean, not only does he have movies, cartoons, comics, etc, but think of all the stuff you see the \S/ shield on. Hats, shirts, on other fictional-characters' clothing... underwear, haha. And if you wear the Superman symbol on anything just about anywhere in the world, people recognize it. I've been to Italy and Greece where I wore a Superman shirt and people there constantly pointed it out.

Next to Superman, I figure Batman is also pretty far up there, as is Mickey Mouse and Betty Boop.

What do you guys think? Maybe there are others I'm not thinking of.

I'm not completely scared of them but some episodes are creepy like Betty Boop, the old mickey mouse, and felix the cat. Also some other ones that were made in the 60's or 70's.
