What should I be for Halloween? I'm in 8th grade and we're having a dance and I want to be sorta sexy but not like my mom getting mad. I don't want to buy a store costume either, but put something together from clothing. I wanted to be Betty Boop but I can't seem to find a dress. If it helps for ideas, I have a pair of peep toe black high heels I want to wear.

I'm a seventeen-year-old senior in high school with medium-dark brown curly hair that's slightly shorter than shoulder length. My style is kind of 1920's-1930's vintagey, and for Halloween this coming Friday I'm dressing up as Betty Boop. I've been wanting to dye my hair a soft, natural-looking black for a while now, and I figure this is the perfect time to do so.
Today I bought Clairol Natural Instincts hair dye in Midnight Black. Does this come out as natural-looking as it seems like it does on the package, and does it REALLY wash out in six weeks? Does it damage your hair? My hair is REALLY delicate.
Also, if I leave it on my hair for half the time recommended, would that make it come out half as black for just as long, or would it be just as black for half as long? I really don't know, I've never dyed my hair before!!

Ok by Halloween I will be 21... I have dressed up as everything in my life.... from a sexy pirate, to a go go dancer, to a sexy cop, betty boop. and one year i was even one of the 3 blind mice. I am looking for something a little different but still want to look good.... like i dont want to be a condom or something.... i want to look attractive but not look like everyone else's halloween costume...any ideas?

I'm a 17 year old girl. And it's for children in need at my school.
I dont want something "sIutty" (by which i mean Playboy bunny, or "sexy" builder) but I also dont want something that's totally silly!
Think along the lines of Betty Boop, power ranger, or a highway woman. Things people will recognize, but will say "Ahh, cool...I didn't think of that!!" and that arent totally obvious (like catwoman, wonderwoman, cheerleader, alice in wonderland etc)
All suggestions are welcome, though, as they could inspire!!
By "for children in need" I dont mean I'm going to be visiting a childrens hospital or anything! lol, Im just pointing out that its not for halloween, so scary stuff is best avoided.
It's just that the oldest year in my school has to come in fancy dress, so I'm not gonna wear anything s|utty, because my teachers etc will see (not that I'd wear that stuff anyway, ha!)

I've already bought one, but I think it's too flowwy for Betty.

For Halloween this year, I wanted to be something sexy... but not something that's common like a nurse, maid, witch, Dorothy, Goldilocks, etc. Last year, I was a cop and I LOVED the costume. No one else had it at the party I went to, and people were constantly asking about it.

I got a knee length tight scalloped red dress it is off the sholder poofy sleeves and the rest is tight sleeves to my wrists. I have a couple ideas of what to do for halloween with this dress but I need more. I am going to a halloween party and I want to be something that nobody will be (ex: a devil, everyone will be a devil) I was thinking about takeing off the sleves and makeing it a strapless that way it looks more modern. it has a bulky thing of beads on the hip that i want to replace or take off.
