i still have two tapes, but they're not the ones I'm looking for. the one I'm looking for is a 6 hour tape. it doesn't have any classic cartoons (Superman, Popeye, Betty Boop, etc.) I think it may be by Mel-O-Toons because the other tapes i have are by them, but I'm not sure the cartoons in the tape were something like Humpty Dumpty, The three bears, Peter and the Wolf, the emperors new cloth. thanks for your help.

I can't help but miss my childhood shows. I miss watching Cartoon Cartoon Fridays on Cartoon Network, and the Nicktoon Summer Beach House during the summer on Nickelodean. Who miss the old Disney Channel Movie opening? The one when they sang "let's watch a disney channel movie".
Kids of the 2010s won't get to have the cartoons and shows we had and that's not fair for them. They should be watching the Powerpuff Girls, Courage, Ed Edd n Eddy, Johnny Bravo. Not Dude, What Would Happen, Flapjack or Adventure Time. Chowder is cool but it doesn't live up to shoes like Robot Jones, Time Squad, or Fosters. Nick needs to get rid of iCarly, True Jackson, Big Time Rush and bring back the Amanda Show, All That, Drake and Josh, Kennan and Kel, and the classic cartoons like Rocket Power, Wild Thornberrys, Rugrats, Catdog, As Told by Ginger, and even SpongeBob was better back in the day. Disney needs to stop trying to be like the next MTV nd go back to classic Disney like That's So Raven, Phil of The Future, House of Mouse, DuckTales, and Lizzie McGuire. Hannah Montana got old after tge first 2 years. Jonas Brothers were cool before they were big time famous but they need to get a new image. The virgin crap is worn out. Nick now has a show called Victorious and is trying to be like Hannah Montana, but they need stop before they get ahead of themselves and bring back Slime Time Live, along with Hey Arnold. Even Nick Jr. was better back in the day. We had Franklin, Little Bear, Blues Clues, Maisy, ect.

I want the classics back. Not that sh*t they have today. I want to watch CARTOONS!!! I be in high school but that doesn't change the fact that tv is turning in to crap.

around late 90's to early 2000's
there was this show that would play classic cartoons: from Tex Avery, Hanna-Barbera, to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer animation.
And they would always give these Background facts about the episode before they should it.
If helps jog any one's memory, the program would always show these reels being pulled out of a box full of hay.

I'm working on an assignment in my animation class, and I could use some audio. Does anybody know where I can find some cartoon sounds and music? The kind you would in Merry Melodies and other classic cartoons?

Specifically, I need music suitable for a chasing scene. And a sad violin music. And I need a whistling sound for a scene when my character is falling from a high place.

I don't remember if it was Silly Symphonies or Merry Melodies, but I used to have it in one of the many VHS compilations from the 80's of classic cartoons. It was one cartoon and had a version of the Pied Piper, 7 Gables (with Clark Gable), the Angel Band from Clean Pastures, Old King Cole, and a bunch of the then current celebrities in cartoon form. Out of all of the VHSes I had, it was my favorite. If anyone could tell me the name of it I would be eternally grateful.

On the Cartoon Network, why don't they ever show any classic cartoons? Does everything have to be the modern crap? What happened to stuff like Bugs Bunny/Road Runner, Flintstones, Jetsons, Scooby-Doo, Heathcliff, Inspector Gadget? Even Pac-Man, Little Rascals, Richie Rich, and Monchhichis. There's not one cable channel that's airing even one of those cartoons nowadays. It's pathetic.

The cartoons we all used to watch growing up filled us with entertainment and inspiration. Cartoons like Looney Tunes and Freakazoid. Cartoons that everyone enjoyed. Kids and adults of all ages. Those classic cartoons are gone. And they'll be gone forever unless we, the viewers, do something about it. I say we sign a petition to bring back the classic shows we enjoyed and eliminate the trash antics that took their place. The question is... would you be willing to sign that petition?

I was wondering if anyone remembers this one very old cartoon where these poor children go to bed hungry and have dreams of a place filled with food. When they wake up they find the table full of food and i think their mom and neighbors or something. I'm not sure what year it was but i really want to find my old favorite cartoons. That is one of the ones i remember the most. If not, do you remember some other old good classic cartoons from the 1940s because i really want to look for them.

One time when I was little I saw this movie on sci-fi channel. It had people turning into classic cartoons. In one scene a woman was climbing a building and she got transformed into betty boop. Another had that big fat guy from popeye chasing somebody. I would really apreaciate it if somebody told me the name.

1. Wile E Coyote actually catching roadrunner and eat him
2. Sylvester grabing that Tweety Bird and chew him up
3. Charlie Brown beating down Lucy for all the shit shes done to him (like pulling the football away all the time)
4. Elmer Fudd shooting Bugs right between the eyes
5. Or something else? (stick to the old school classic cartoons)
