I'm looking for an old black and white cartoon I'm pretty sure I saw on Cartoon Network years ago. It was probably one of the Merrie Melodies or old Looney Tunes cartoons, but I'm not entirely sure since I've combed through episode lists and so far nothing seems to ring a bell.

Anyway. What stood out to me was 1920's-looking characters, think Betty Boop only a bit creepier because the faces were gaunt and looked very realistic with heavy-lidded eyes. The characters' bodies were also tiny compared to their heads. I don't remember the plot though, but I think there was a scene with a heartthrob crooner (who sounded like the "I wanna sing-a" owl) singing in a radio station. Now that I think about it, the characters there could have been allusions to real people since they had very distinct features.

Does anybody else remember this?

The main character was a crazy looking guy with a suit with thick black and white stripes, and he had a car that was alive, and a young girl as a friend. I aired very briefly on cartoon network about 7 or 8 years ago maybe even 10.

I can't help but miss my childhood shows. I miss watching Cartoon Cartoon Fridays on Cartoon Network, and the Nicktoon Summer Beach House during the summer on Nickelodean. Who miss the old Disney Channel Movie opening? The one when they sang "let's watch a disney channel movie".
Kids of the 2010s won't get to have the cartoons and shows we had and that's not fair for them. They should be watching the Powerpuff Girls, Courage, Ed Edd n Eddy, Johnny Bravo. Not Dude, What Would Happen, Flapjack or Adventure Time. Chowder is cool but it doesn't live up to shoes like Robot Jones, Time Squad, or Fosters. Nick needs to get rid of iCarly, True Jackson, Big Time Rush and bring back the Amanda Show, All That, Drake and Josh, Kennan and Kel, and the classic cartoons like Rocket Power, Wild Thornberrys, Rugrats, Catdog, As Told by Ginger, and even SpongeBob was better back in the day. Disney needs to stop trying to be like the next MTV nd go back to classic Disney like That's So Raven, Phil of The Future, House of Mouse, DuckTales, and Lizzie McGuire. Hannah Montana got old after tge first 2 years. Jonas Brothers were cool before they were big time famous but they need to get a new image. The virgin crap is worn out. Nick now has a show called Victorious and is trying to be like Hannah Montana, but they need stop before they get ahead of themselves and bring back Slime Time Live, along with Hey Arnold. Even Nick Jr. was better back in the day. We had Franklin, Little Bear, Blues Clues, Maisy, ect.

I want the classics back. Not that sh*t they have today. I want to watch CARTOONS!!! I be in high school but that doesn't change the fact that tv is turning in to crap.

These are the cartoons that need to be on tv. These are the cartoons that actually have meaning and are timeless. What do you think?

Ok so I know that there have been multiple questions about this but don't you think that network's like cartoon network Nickelodeon Disney and so on should have channel that are just dedicated to 80's and 90's cartoons alone. Yes I do realize that Disney and Cartoon Network have Toon Disney and Boomerang but don't you think it's time to expose new generations to the old cartoons like transformers and GI Joe not the new ones but the old good 80's cartoons or how about for the younger kids Eurekas Castle or the Popples or Gummi Bears. I would honestly like to see the networks that show cartoons wise up and each start two more channels each showing the cartoons from the 80's and 90's for the older kids on one channel and then showing more shows orientated to the the younger children showing shows like Muppet Babies. What do you guys think of this idea? bad? good? Heck I would love it if someone just started there own tv channels and all they showed were these shows. It would be great

Okay, so the title is a little vague but so it my memory. I remember there was a little girl mummy. And kid versions of a werewolf, vampire, etc. I think they are at a school. I remember there being a parent day and their parents (adult Frankenstein, Dracula, etc.) come. I think they play a game of baseball and there is an evil witch. It probably was on cartoon network.

I am trying to find this old cartoon network show, but i cant remember the name. The shows graphics looked like johnny bravo. The theme was 3 superheros one that looked like the hulk, another that looked like captain america, and one that had a guitar that shot out lighting. Does anyone remember the name of this show?

I have no idea what exactly it's about, but I want to say that it was either on Cartoon Network, or on Adult Swim. It was animated, but not anime. I remember one of the characters was drawn kind of in the style of Betty Boop... and in one of the episodes I saw, they were in a plane and I'm pretty sure that the character that looked like Betty Boop got sucked out of the plane or something... and they ended up replacing her with a new character that was a take-off of Strawberry Shortcake, but I'm pretty sure that character was only there for one episode.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? HAHA sorry it's kind of a confusing description. Any help would be great- THANKS

okay. Rember the old cartoon network. With Naruto, Teen titans, Power Puff Girls, Fosters Home For imaganrey Frinds, Dexter's Labortory, and all the other stuff. I want to know what your top three favorite shows and charter from that show here is mine:
1 Show: Naruto, Sakrua
2. Show: Teen Titans, Starfire
3. Show: Foster's Home For Imaniry Friends, Blue
there is my list.
from,
Ivah

There was this old cartoon on Cartoon Network that had two cats in it. They worked like at a garbage plays and they were like super heroes and stuff, they had a jet, motorcycle, and stuff like that. Thats all I really remember.....any clue?

Thanks.

Ok there are two that I am looking for:

The first one is from Nickelodeon from back in the 90s. It showed a man looking out on a sidewalk and attempting to grab a penny laying in front of him. All different kinds of foot traffic keep him from getting it, and eventually a little kid grabs it.

The other one was a Cartoon Network music video that they would play randomly between shows. It featured a Betty Boop animation where she is in a car race.

Does anyone remember these? I loved them as a kid and would love to see them again, I just can't seem to find them.

It showed a couple of years ago and almost reminded me of star wars when they race. The show was a cartoon i think on cartoon network and was racing similar to the star wars racing if that makes sence.

When i was young, Classic Animation was basically everywhere.

TNT and other places aired Looney Tunes
Cartoon Network aired classic animation 24/7
AMC aired Betty Boop, Puppettoons and other toons as fillers
The list goes on...

Nowadays, Corporate America is becoming more selfish
Nick and Disney now airs brainwashin' teenage crap for kids
Cartoon Network is vaguely entertaining
Boomerang has some shows that don't belong there (i.e. Cow and Chicken, Pokemon)
the list goes on...

Now only that, They are becoming cold hearted in the distribution field

We never see a DVD of The Cattanooga Cats or any of our favorites, Instead all we get is DVD after DVD of nothin' but Star Trek and Scooby-Doo

We rarely get nostalgic properties on DVD

and to make things worse, The holders of these properties are treating nostalgia buffs (like me) like trash even on YouTube when we post their content on the site (despite the fact that they never use them)

On the Cartoon Network, why don't they ever show any classic cartoons? Does everything have to be the modern crap? What happened to stuff like Bugs Bunny/Road Runner, Flintstones, Jetsons, Scooby-Doo, Heathcliff, Inspector Gadget? Even Pac-Man, Little Rascals, Richie Rich, and Monchhichis. There's not one cable channel that's airing even one of those cartoons nowadays. It's pathetic.

anyone remember a classic cartoon movie that was aired on "Cartoon Network's Cartoon Theater," that featured a live action young boy, with a "mini" red car, that he drove into a cartoon land? If that makes any sense. I do believe it was filmed in the 70's or something, but I remember seeing it in the 90's. If you remember the name, PLEASE let me know!

I really wish they would. Cartoon network has one, boomerang, which some of those cartoons use to play on disney or nick according to wikipedia the smurfs played on nick or maybe disney. but i want to watch stuff like rocco's modern life and doug and old mickey mouse. is either of those channels ever going to do something like that?
none of ya'll probably know this lol but maybe.

Hope this works but try to tell the people of cartoon network that you really miss the shows and to put them back.

Go to this link:

http://help.cartoonnetwork.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=5458

1) Click on "How do i Request a Show"

2) Then click on feedback form.

3) write that you miss the old cartoon network?

I think it will work if lots of people did that. So lets just give it a try.

What was that cartoon on Cartoon network, with Captain America, thor, and Hulk? It was a funny cartoon. I have tried to look online for the name but i cant find it!

i am gonna have to say rocko's modern life i loved dat show! and also ahh real monsters! damn, why isnt there cartonns like those now days.i hate todays cartoons! nickolodeon's shows and cartoon network's shows are lame now.all their shows turned into crap.
oh yeah theres this boomerang channel but its not the same and nicktoons suck now, they show the same cartoons they show on the regular nickolodeon channel.

The first song goes:

Im rolling, Im rolling, Im rolling on
Im rolling, Im rolling, Im rolling on
I gotta get a new bone,
I gotta get a tight tension on?
I gotta pick it up untill the rust gets gone
I gotta feel it with the hot mind on?

It had a music video on disney or cartoon network with Betty Boop in it.

The other song goes:

With every bottle drink you can drown me,
cuz you found me out.
And now the time has come
Theres nothing more I can take, then you show me.

I think thats the chorus.

I miss the cartoons from the past. I also miss watching "She-ra", "Rainbowbrite", "Popples", "The Cabbage Patch Kids", "The Smurfs", "Inspector Gadget", "Pink Panther", "Betty Boop", "Pop-eye". I guess I'll start saving money to buy the ones they don't show on Cartoon Network. Lol.

there was an old show that came on Cartoon Network years ago about a green eyed pirate and his entourage who traversed a fictional world that had 13 seas. the main character looked like someone right out of a Final Fantasy game. that's all i can remember about it. The title actually had 13 Seas in it ....if i remember correctly.

please aide

Once Upon a time.. there lived good shows!! What ever happened to them? All cartoon network ever shows is this new crap! i want old shows! the good ones! But what ever happened to HiHi Puffy AmiYumi? I LOVED that show!! It isnt on anything!! did they cancel it?

it was like a spoof of justice league. i think it might have been on cartoon network. it had a captain america-like guy, a guy who was really dumb who was supposed to be like the hulk and a guy with long blonde 80's hair metal hair and a guitar. they all had an apartment and hung out like normal people.

I remember playing it on Cartoon network for ages, and then one day it was gone. I really want to play it again, anyone know where to find it?

Sadly New England doesn't cover boomerang. All we have is the new Cartoon Network and I don't like it. Do you? Plus your never too old too watch Cartoons and I grew up with Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog, The PPG, Edd Ed n Eddy, Dexter's Labrotory, Scooby Doo. And most of them aren't on Dvd. I'm still a kid at heart. Can you tell me?
