I've heard a lot of people say they don't like her. Why? I think she's adorable and she's my favorite cartoon character! She is like the great-grandma of cartoons!
She was supposed to be dressed the way she was. Including the haircut. They made her because she was supposed to take the stress away of The Great Depression. Plus that's how 1920's flappers dressed and Betty was supposed to be a reminder of the fun 20's.

It seems like whenever a cartoon character is killed, they always get revived in some form a couple of issues or episodes later (think of Captain America or Superman.) So, how could you invent a foolproof way to make sure some superhero stays dead?
