My 5 yr old son has to become a cartoon character.How can I make his costume at home?
My son loves sponge bob, noddy and tom and jerry.How do i make him look like these characters in a fancy dress competition on cartoons in his schools.I want to be as creative as possible and avoid buying costumes from market to avoid duplication in his competition.

my brother had the same sort of thing at school and he loves spongebob. so we got a big rectangular box to fit his body them paintes it yellow and painted on spongebobs feautures. then cut out the bottom and put holes on the side for arms and put a whole at the top for the head.

Maybe you could use the thick foam padding, paint it yellow with some holes in it….use felt to cut out eyes and mouth and a hot glue gun will help you so much
