How hard is it to add sequins to clothing?
I am going to dress as Jessica Rabbit for Halloween but it was very difficult to find the right dress. I found a Betty Boop costume (here is a link with a picture of the costume http://www.buycostumes.com/Category/0/Product/27397/ProductDetail.aspx?REF=AFC-datafeed&AID=10273928&PID=2100672&SID=NAT234013-sc3271653) that was pretty close but I just noticed it is velet (in the picture it looks like a satin type of material). But Jessica Rabbits dress is sparkly so how hard would it be to add sequins of some kind to the dress. I know nothing about sewing or anything like that. Please help!

its very simple
just pass the needle and thread through the hole of the sequin and thru the place where u want to place the sequin. this is gonna sound quite dumb, but carefully gluing the sequins with a special velvet glue is effective and much less tedious and time consuming. now if u want to cover the dress in sequins from head to toe, get another dress. its not worth it. ull waste time and not to mention money ><.plus, sewing the sequins on will get annoying and painful (i guarantee ull get pinched more than once)
hope i helped!
its very easy, ypu just pass the needle though the hole in the sequin, it just takes a while depending on the number of sequine.
I would advise getting a tailor to do it
my mom put like 12 sequins on one of my sweaters a long time ago and it took her some time it depends on how many you want and by the looks of it you said sparkly so it could take a couple of nights. i think you have time til halloween but if you plan on covering the whole dress that can take some time lol
not very hard if you put another ouestion i will tell you what colours go.
easy, yes, and very very very very very very time consuming. if i were you i would take it to a tailor or somone who specializes in things like that.
You could use sequin trim or it would take forever. You can order it by the yard and can use fabric glue or iron on glue.
