Do you think they should bring back classic cartoons?
The cartoons we all used to watch growing up filled us with entertainment and inspiration. Cartoons like Looney Tunes and Freakazoid. Cartoons that everyone enjoyed. Kids and adults of all ages. Those classic cartoons are gone. And they'll be gone forever unless we, the viewers, do something about it. I say we sign a petition to bring back the classic shows we enjoyed and eliminate the trash antics that took their place. The question is... would you be willing to sign that petition?

Thufferin thucotash, path the petition already will ya?
This is the best suggestion I have heard in ages. TV today really is far from being ‘entertainment’.
Kids (and adults) these days need a good belly laugh now and then, it’s good for the soul!
So bring back the older cartoons; Looney Tunes, Disney, all the ones we used to rush home from school to see.
As for the old farts that say they are full of violence and not a good influence on children’s minds, wake up, look around you at the world!!!
These cartoons are pure escapism, a break from the seriousness of the world today…one that these old farts themselves have created.
To them I say, buy a dictionary and look up the word ‘fun’ and for heaven’s sake, leave kids alone to be kids and stop imposing your own screwed up opinions on them.
Ok now I have got off my soapbox, all I can say is:
That’s all folks!!
Yes!
I think you can bring em back, i remember watchin the cartoons they have now and there was a commercial where you could bring em back by ordering Boomerang so no need for the petition just order boomerang
heck yeah!
^_~
unite for classics
i think kids these days wouldn’t really get into loony tunes, but i think they should bring back a lot of the ’90s cartoons. and for freekazoid, yes, i would proudly sign that petition!
No. While the Cartoon Network seems to be heavy with Batman spinoffs and Star Wars: the Clone Wars (while I’m an old Batman fan I don’t like the new series and couldn’t watch a teamup of Batman and Dr. Fate — another favorite character — last night despite accepting that this was credibly a canonical story) there are too few opportunities for new animators out there. Spongebob, Fairly Odd Parents and Ben 10 are kewl. There is no other word for them. Looney Tunes and Freakazoid are in the secondary market and belong there. I want to see what ELSE people can do, especially having bought that animated Dr. Strange DVD and want some of these big licensed properties to go back to the secondary market so we can have new stuff.
yes and the sooner the better !
