I'd like to know if anyone remembers the name of an old cartoon ( '40s Warner Bros. maybe) Set in Imperial Russia where this big shot Russian guy in traditional guard outfit red coat, big furry black hat faces off against this Cossack type guy and fights him by kick dancing. In the end the ice they fight on ruptures freezing them both in a kind of ice sculpture. The narration is sung as a legend/folktale. Thanks all.

Ok, so I've already asked a similar question but I didn't find anything I liked so I'm asking again. This time I will be a bit more clear on what we want.

The dog is a Female Miniature Dapple Dachshund with silver & brown coloring.

We already have three dogs and their names are Jasper, Gracie & Roxy. We want the name to be something cute and we want it to go with the names of our other dogs. Another request that we have is having the name 2 syllables, so it's easier to call. Our ideas so far are Daphne, Daisy or Cara. We are also thinking of a name of a historical person or character. The ideas we have for that so far is Betty Boop, Daisy Duke or Cleopatra (Cleo for short). We don't want an overly common name such as 'Bella' or any other extremely popular names. Something somewhat unique but not over the top would be great.

What are your opinions on these names so far, and what other ideas do you have?

As a kid I remember watching an animated cartoon show featuring a boy, a girl, a pudgy little white dog, and a car that turned into a flying machine. Specifically, I think the car turned into a hot air balloon with a propeller in the back. This was in the early to mid 1980's (though the cartoon may have been older).

I'm not a poser or a wannabe. So whatever. I'd like to try a scene/emo hairstyle. I also think their choice of clothing is rather cute :] I love cartoons, Hello Kitty, Betty Boop, Tinkerbell, etc. I love outrageous, cool fun clothes. I also like name brand clothes, Aeropostale, stuff like that, high end brands like Juicy Couture and all that. I have a very wide imagination when it comes to clothes and accessories. I've never really had a chance to express my imagination in the way I dress and becoming scene/emo would help me to do that. It would be a fun experience for me and it would also be fun to branch out from the way kids at my school dress, even though we're in uniform. Their style is really urban, rap, hip hop, like that. That's cute too but I wanna be different by being scene(or emo). I know there's other scene kids out there, I'm not trying to say I wanna be the first or whatever, I just want to have a different style from people at school and also add some fun to our uniform policy, even though we can't do much, blahh. As for the music, I'll listen to basically anything that has a good beat and lyrics, no matter what it is, it can be in a different language for all I care. If it's good I'll listen to it. I don't have a Facebook, Twitter, or Myspace, but that can always change I have no idea what kind of name I'd have but I'd think of something. What kind of scene/emo hair would look good on me?

heres the situation... i like this girl tooooo much to get over her she makes my day and she's the reason i look forward to school. I KNOW I LOVE HER. i know she is kinda attracted to me b/c we've had some moments and then i mess everything up by doing something stupid. this time i really screwed up by throwing a paper ball at her in the mourning. and she got mad then i threw another one and she got really pissed off. then i realized how mad she was when she stoped talking to me. i realized how stupid i was and i apologized like a million times then i realized that she was a girl so i told her i would make it up to her so this weekend that just passed i texted her and she didnt reply so i texted her again and she still didnt reply then i called her i told her it was me then she hung up! then i text her telling her how sorry i was and how nice ive always been to hershe said she just doesnt feel like talking to me then i called her back (she sounded pissed) and i apologized and told her good night. then i texted her telling her i liked her for the first time. then the next mourning i texted her saying that i love her and begging her for one chance just to go out with her. she then said stop texting me and delete her number out of my phone and that she wouldn't be my girl cause im rude (cause i threw the paper ball) i said im sorry and when else have i ever been rude she then saidcaue you threw it twice and that was rude. i know it was rude and im sorry but...i love her and dont wanna give her up. i didnt get a chance to text back cause my mom saw my grades on the internet and saw some F's (alot) so she took my phone and i never got a chance to text back.

My mom past away along time ago. I want to get a memorial tattoo in honor of her. I know she liked Betty Boop, loved animals, favorite color was purple, and she was a loving person. So I wanted to get Betty Boop's dog, Pudgy. Next to pudgy will be a purple heart, that says on it mom. I edit on photo bucket just to give a general idea as what it would look like. I can't remember any of the details, but the show was about a brain who wanted to take over the world. I remember the brain was in a jar or a clear dome-like container. I think the character was just a brain with eyes and a tail/arm/leg thing. Sorry, that's all I can remember. But, I think the brain had an assistant or something.

When i was young, Classic Animation was basically everywhere.

TNT and other places aired Looney Tunes
Cartoon Network aired classic animation 24/7
AMC aired Betty Boop, Puppettoons and other toons as fillers
The list goes on...

Nowadays, Corporate America is becoming more selfish
Nick and Disney now airs brainwashin' teenage crap for kids
Cartoon Network is vaguely entertaining
Boomerang has some shows that don't belong there (i.e. Cow and Chicken, Pokemon)
the list goes on...

Now only that, They are becoming cold hearted in the distribution field

We never see a DVD of The Cattanooga Cats or any of our favorites, Instead all we get is DVD after DVD of nothin' but Star Trek and Scooby-Doo

We rarely get nostalgic properties on DVD

and to make things worse, The holders of these properties are treating nostalgia buffs (like me) like trash even on YouTube when we post their content on the site (despite the fact that they never use them)

On the Cartoon Network, why don't they ever show any classic cartoons? Does everything have to be the modern crap? What happened to stuff like Bugs Bunny/Road Runner, Flintstones, Jetsons, Scooby-Doo, Heathcliff, Inspector Gadget? Even Pac-Man, Little Rascals, Richie Rich, and Monchhichis. There's not one cable channel that's airing even one of those cartoons nowadays. It's pathetic.

Why is the B&W cartoon short called Minnie the Moocher featuring Betty Boop, banned?? I don't see anything racist or offensive about it...I've heard the lame-o answer that it's because her father appears to wear a yarmulke (It looks more to me like it's just his bald spot) but at any rate just showing a yarmulke is NOT offensive. And also I have heard because of the covert drug references in the song, i.e., cocaine, opium....But does anyone out there know FOR SURE????
